When we interact with each other, we are not only interacting with the person, but also interacting with the culture behind that person. Sometimes we misunderstand or misinterpret with each other because we bring different cultural assumptions into the interaction. Therefore, it is essential to study diversity to understand different individuals and different cultures. In addition, people coming from different backgrounds desire to fit into society. The sense of belonging and inclusion is especially important for minorities. Thus it is important to study inclusion as well.
