Why do you think it is important to study diversity and inclusion? 

I think it's important to study diversity and inclusion to appreciate the beauty of different perspectives and experiences. Further, I think it's important to focus on and research communities and groups that in the past have been underrepresented. 

Describe a time you felt socially connected to UCLA? 

A time I felt socially connected at UCLA was when I lived in the dorms my freshman year. It was such an amazing experience to meet and develop genuine friendships with such welcoming people.
