Why do you think it is important to study diversity and inclusion? 

It's important to study diversity and inclusion because having an understanding of how intersecting identities can lead to marked change within a community is essential. Studying inclusion can also have profound benefits on the lives of people in underserved and marginalized communities.

 

Describe a time you felt socially connected to UCLA? 

I have felt socially connected at UCLA when I was in the radio station, working and writing about music with my friends. That community has made me feel very included and welcomed on campus.
